Dr. Asa G. Hilliard III was an educator, educational psychologist, and scholar of ancient African history and culture. As Georgia State University’s Fuller E. Callaway Professor of Urban Education, his work addressed teaching, curriculum, assessment, and the educational experiences of African-descended learners.
