Critico Tees was born out of love — love for the Black Afrikan scholars, thinkers, and freedom fighters whose wisdom shaped a movement and changed lives. As someone privileged to be part of the African-centered movement, I wanted to find a way to honor those who paved the path: the historians, the educators, the revolutionaries whose names deserve to be spoken, worn, and remembered.

What started as a tribute became a mission.

Today, Critico Tees creates activist apparel that celebrates Black and Afrikan identity, amplifies voices of resistance, and keeps the spirit of the African-centered movement alive in everyday life. But our reach doesn't stop there — Critico creates apparel that speaks to a myriad of social issues, from Palestinian liberation and women's rights to anti-racism and global solidarity. Because justice is not a single cause — it is a way of life.
